Eleonore "Lore" Falleroni

February 9, 1931 — June 11, 2015

Our dearest mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother and beloved friend, has passed into God's loving arms on June 11, 2015 at Peace Hospice. At Lore's request there will be no service and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Schnider Funeral Home. Her life's journey was not an easy one. Lore was born to Anna and Otto Weidinger in Munich Germany and grew up during World War II. She was educated at Overzell Convent and received a degree as a Master Seamstress. She met her future military husband P.J. while working in a German night club, avoiding him at every turn, at first. Being extremely persistent, he finally got her to marry him. At the courthouse, when it was time to say I Do, she had to poke him in the ribs, which made him yell Yah . (He was Italian-American and the ceremony was spoken in German.) She was a stay at home mother who used her sewing talents to earn extra money, making beautiful wedding & attendant dresses, prom dresses, ice skating outfits. Lore was also known for her delicious baked goods, earning her the nickname Cookie Nanna. Sewing, baking and her family were her passion and life. She spent 20 years traveling the world with her husband of 55 years and daughter until finally settling in Great Falls. She never met a stranger and always welcomed everyone with her wonderful baked goods and was a great listener and friend.Lore will be greatly missed.Lore is survived by a daughter Gabi (Ken) Zirschky of Great Falls; brother Hans Weidinger of Germany; grandson Zach (Sarah) Muse of Lincoln; granddaughter Brenda Jeffrey of Great Falls; brother-in-law Tony (Marianne) Falleroni of Pittsburgh; six great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; nieces, and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband PJ; sister, Ann Calewartz; father and mother; and a grandson Larry Zirschky. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Peace Hospice would mean so much.A special thank you to Peace Hospice, Bee Hive Assisted Living Homes, and all of moms doctors, throughout her lifes journey.
