Eldon Grey

Eldon R. Grey, 63, of Great Falls, passed away on January 15, 2016.A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Eldon was born on August 23, 1952 to Lawrence and Vivian (Arnoux) Grey in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. He joined the Army after completing high school and served in Vietnam. After being honorably discharged, he went to work for Burlington Northern Railroad as a boiler operator. Throughout his life he lived in Sheridan and Gillette, Wyoming and finally settled down in Great Falls.He married Barbara Mary Hinkle in 1977. Their first son, Jason was born in 1978 and four years later Jim was born.Eldon was a people person who loved playing his harmonica and reading.He is survived by his sons, Jason Grey of Gillette, WY and Jim Grey of Great Falls; three grandchildren and one on the way.Eldon was preceded in death by his brother Dennis James Grey and sisters Myrna Mitchell and Gayline Peterson.
