Eileen Maycumber

Eileen G. Maycumber passed away peacefully to be with our Lord, on May 26, 2014 in Great Falls, MT.Eileen was born in 1924 in Libby, MT. Following graduation from high school in Libby, she attended Sacred Heart Nursing School in Spokane, WA and worked as an RN. She married Guy Maycumber and raised five children. Eileen was a devout Catholic, dedicated mother and grandmother. She lived and worked for years in Kalispell. Following her retirement from the Kalispell Regional Medical Center in the 1990s, she enjoyed knitting, quilting and gardening.She is survived by her sisters, Marie and Carol; brother Loren; three children, Frank of Kalispell, MT, Sharon of Woodland Park, CO, and Marcia of Great Falls, MT; along with six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Ray; husband Guy; sons Leonard and Steven; and a granddaughter.A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Saint Matthews Church, 605 South Main Street, Kalispell, MT with a reception to follow. A private burial of ashes will be held at Glacier Memorial Gardens.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent in her memory to: NW MT Veterans Food Pantry, 1349 HWY 2 East, Kalispell, MT 59901.Eileen was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
