Ebba Lula Marie (Salonen) Kolar, 87, a homemaker of 125 Sourdough Rd in Geyser, Montana died on Sunday, June 16, 2013 at a local assisted living facility.Visitation will be at Schnider Funeral Home on Friday, June 21, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Her funeral service will be at Our Saviors Lutheran Church on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 10:00 a.m., with interment to follow in Highland Cemetery. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangementsEbba was born April 11, 1926 in Geyser, Montana, where she was raised and educated. She attended rural Braun Creek Elementary School and Geyser "public" Schools. She married Edward L. Kolar on November 2, 1942 in Hobbs, NM. He died in 2008.Ebba served as a county election judge for 31 years and as a census enumerator.She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, serving as Department of Montana President in 1986 - 1987; was the Girls State Housing Director; member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church and Geyser/Raynesford Senior Citizens.Ebba enjoyed shopping for family and friends.She is survived by her daughter, Carol Kimble of Helena; son Ken Kolar and wife Paula of Geyser; three grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.Her husband, Edward L.
