Dwayne Anderson, beloved husband, father, and papa drew his last breath and entered the arms of our Lord on March 18, 2018, mainly, we suspect, to avoid having to watch any football team have more Super Bowl wins than the Steelers. Dwayne was born October 26, 1961 in Wallace, Idaho sharing his day of birth, to his dismay, with Hillary Clinton. He married his wife, Cindy in 1984, and together they had two sons. Dwayne was a people pleaser wanting to help everyone. He often said “if there is anything I can do for you just let me know” and he meant it. He proudly served as president of the Americans Little League and was instrumental in getting the Challenger baseball program restarted. He loved hunting as much for the sport, as spending time with friends. He volunteered his time with his church as a member of Men of Faith, Habitat for Humanity, helping Veterans and the FISH program. One of his passions was watching any reality television program originating from Alaska, Swamp People, and Larry’s Country Diner. Dwayne leaves behind his wife, Cindy; his children, Robert, Blake (wife Marion who he loved as his own daughter); and the loves of his life his two grandchildren, Dexter and Jerry. A celebration of life is planned at Faith Lutheran Church on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Faith Lutheran Church building fund.
