Dustin "Dusty" Lacey

Dustin Dusty Alan Lacey, 43, of Great Falls, passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2014.A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service which will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. A potluck reception will be held immediately following the burial at Schnider Funeral Home. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Dusty was born on January 4, 1971 to Roger and Lorna (Sather) Lacey in Great Falls, Montana. He graduated from Great Falls High School in 1989 and then attended Miles City Community College after saving his money.He loved to hunt and fish, especially at Widows Cooley and Big Bend - wherever there was water and fish. He also enjoyed sports, reading the Tribune every day because he wanted to know what was going on, motorcycle riding, panning for gold and horn hunting. The great outdoors was his church. Dustin also had a passion for all animals. He would give shelter to stray cats in the neighborhood; he owned two dogs and two cats. A true friend to all! He was always a happy kid with a bright, shining smile and a great laugh, with a quick sense of humor. Dustin kept his zest for life no matter what life threw at him, enjoying life to the fullest. He believed life was to be lived.Dusty is survived by his parents; Granny Ada; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.He was preceded in death by his Grandma Ruby; grandfathers, Howard and Leon; Grandpa Al; Great-grandpa Emil; Great-uncle Bud; cousins Kelsie and Tammy; and numerous aunts and uncles.Dusty our precious son you are so loved and the heart of our life, we were so blessed to have you the short time that we did. You will be so very missed and always in our hearts.
