Douglas Mohr

Douglas Morris Mohr, 82, of Great Falls, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017 at a local care facility.A viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel, 1410 13th St. S, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. also at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Douglas was born on November 27, 1934 in Hosmer, South Dakota to Gerhard and Hattie Mohr. He was one of four boys. He went on to graduate high school and serve in the United States Army. He later met and married Marianne Sauter. They had two sons, Benjamin and Daniel.He loved to play pool and cards. Douglas enjoyed yard work and fishing. Douglas had great pride in his garden. He was always a hard worker, helping others. He was very loving husband and a very good father.Douglas is survived by his loving wife, Marianne Mohr; son Benjamin (Julie) Mohr; brothers Gerald (Irene) Mohr and Harvey Mohr; and four grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents; son Daniel Mohr and brother Leslie Mohr
