Doug Alan Delk

Doug Alan Delk, age 39, of Great Falls, was born on March 20, 1981, in Minot, ND to Alan and Patrice Delk. He moved to Great Falls when his father was discharged from the United States Air Force. He attended C.M. Russell High School and graduated in 1999. Doug enjoyed gaming with friends and family, Lego’s, and he particularly liked collecting vintage toys. He also enjoyed most all kinds of music and taught himself to play the cello. He also learned to speak Japanese on his own. He loved movies, and in particular 80s action movies, he loved to read about history, and he loved photography. He worked for Walmart for the past 17 years, and that is where he met the love of his life, Wendi Davids. They were married on February 19, 2015. Doug leaves behind his wife of five years; mother, Pat; sister, Shonna (Steve) Jordahl of Great Falls; brother, Ron (Michelle) Delk of Black Eagle; brother-in-law, Brian (Cari) Davids of Great Falls; two nephews, Michael Jordahl and Brayden Davids; and four nieces, Kaycee Wolf, Sarah Wolf, Jessica (Tom) Hodge, and Ashly (Tim) Staples, all of Great Falls. He was preceded in death by his father, Alan Delk; and grandmother, Jackie Higgins. Doug will always be remembered for his wonderfully unique sense of humor.
