Dorothy (Wutzke) Murolo, 85, of Great Falls, a retired Montgomery Ward clerk, died of natural causes surrounded by her loving family at a local nursing home on Monday, March 12, 2012.Visitation will be held at Schnider Funeral Home, Thursday, March 15, 2012 from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm.A graveside service will be held at Highland Cemetery, Friday, March 16, 2012 at 2:00 p.m.Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Dorothy was born November 4, 1926 to Edwin and Florence (York) Wutzke in Wood Mountain, Saskatchewan, Canada. Her mother passed away when she was four years old and the family moved to Great Falls where she attended school.She met and married Frank Murolo, who was stationed at East Base, on January 8, 1944 in Great Falls.After Franks discharge, they moved to Brooklyn, NY.There she was employed at Lofts Candy Store.They returned to Great Falls in 1951 and she went to work at Montgomery Ward where she worked for 45 years.She retired in 1997.Dorothy was a master caregiver to all of her family and friends.She enjoyed baking for everyone around her.She was a kind, gracious and generous person.Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Mary Levandowski and husband Don of Great Falls, MT; sons Gerry Murolo and wife Debbie, and Larry Murolo all of Helena, MT; seven grandchildren, Jolee (Howard) Corey, Scott Levandowski, Michael (Cara) Murolo, Christopher (Jessica) Murolo, Dustin (Angela) Murolo, Chad (Desiree) Murolo, and Lindsey Murolo; and six great- grandchildren, Macee, Mikayla, Julianna, Mikynze, Annabella and Evan Murolo.She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Murolo; four brothers, Edwin Wutzke, Albert Wutzke, Kenneth Wutzke, Richard Wutzke; and one sister Florence Dyer.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to donors choice.Condolences may be left for the family at www.schniderfuneralhome.com.
