Dorothy May Kuebler Rassier, 98, of Great Falls passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015 at a local care facility. A viewing for Dorothy will be held Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 5-7 p.m. at Schnider Funeral Home. A funeral liturgy will be held Friday, June 5, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with burial to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.She was born in Terry, Montana on May 25, 1917 to Charles and Janet Kuebler. She lived in McCone County the first few years of her life then in Prairie County where she graduated from Terry High School in 1937. Dorothy then moved with her family to Fairfield, Montana.On February 17, 1939 she married Simon Sam J. Rassier. In 1953, they moved to the west side of Great Falls until the Big Flood of 1964, after which they moved to the upper south side of town and she resided there for the rest of her life.Dorothy enjoyed gardening, playing pool, bowling, spending time with her grandchildren, and volunteer work for her church.Dorothy is survived by her daughter Betty Bishop; sons-in-law Bernie Bishop and Leroy Walker; one sister, Grace Watson in Lemon Grove, California; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; and many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Simon Sam Rassier; son Gene Rassier; daughter Ellen Walker; her parents, Charles and Janet Kuebler; two sisters, Charlotte Belle Lang and Rose Ileene Jane; five brothers, Robert, Edward, Carl, Lester, and Donald Dean Kuebler.
