Dorothy Martha May of Great Falls passed away on January 18, 2015 at Peace Hospice.Dorothy was born on April 3, 1927 to Angeline and Nick Popovich in Great Falls. She married Ed May on August 16, 1947. Known affectionately as Dodo, she spent the majority of her years in her roles as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her first job was at Beckmans and in the later years, at the US Forest Service. She also spent many years volunteering at Peace Hospice.She was preceded in death by her parents; her eldest daughter, Darlene Malone Segerstrom; and siblings Polly Franjevic, Bob Popovich and Albert Popovich.Dorothy is survived by her husband, Edward; five children: Clarey (Doug) Bermingham, Ed (Glenda) May, Linda (Tom) Pelo, Jim (Shelley) May, and Marvin (Valerie) May. Her 17 grandkids and 19 great-grandkids were her biggest joy: DarlenesTravis; Angee (Rob), Trevin and Mekhi; and Kevin (Tiffany). ClareysWendy (Ryan), Ridger, Titus, and Tali; Blain (Cristen), Bella, Emmy, Kroy and Kamden; and Brett (Andrea), Teagan and Trey. EdsKerisa (Josh), Jayden, Laurynn, Johnny, and Brady; Jeremy (Linda), Brooklyn and Austyn; and Melanie (Wences), Wences IV and Camila. Lindas - Tyler and Carson. Jims - Hollis, Charley (Holly) and Kelly. Marvins - Whitney, Dylan and Dallas.A funeral liturgy will be held on Friday, January 23, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
