Dorothy Jean Kingston was born on November 1, 1941, in Great Falls, MT and passed away on October 10, 2024, with her family at her side. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, and friend.
Dorothy is survived by her husband, Jon Kingston; three children, Cheryl Dunn, Pam Broyles (Steve), and Butch Kingston (Shelby); four grandchildren, Jessica Caldwell-Duffy (Conrad), Brandon Hunter, Amanda Thompson (Jordan) and Shelton Kingston; and five great-grandchildren, Landen Caldwell, Cooper Caldwell, Maverick Thompson, Tynlee Duffy, and Deegan Duffy.
She will always be remembered for her courage and strength and will be missed more than words can describe.
May she find peace and love in the family
that welcomed her home
May we find strength to move on
through the memories and wisdom she has sewn
She is free to ride her horse through
mountain trails, meadows and streams,
Paint a picture of a landscape, snow-capped
mountain, or winter scene
She will always be remembered
preparing meals for the holidays
Old family recipes, and the family games we played
When we feel lost and alone and tears fill our eyes,
We can find her cheering at the ballfield,
walking in a garden or in a beautiful sunrise
She was the glue of our family
and life won’t feel the same,
She is now laughing with her sister
and free of all pain
For all of her tributes
and the lives that she touched
None are more commendable
than the wife that she was
For 64 years she remained a dedicated wife
Through good times and hard times
blessings and strife
A lifetime together in life and in death
Dad held her hand as she took her last breath
We are forever grateful for the time that we shared
She remains forever with us in memories and prayers
Although her laughter and hugs will truly be missed,
In a soft fallen snow or spring born fawn
we can find her in our midst
We will celebrate her life and move forward somehow
We love her and miss her
But must say goodbye for now.
