Doris Jean Billmayer Egbert returned to her loving Heavenly Father and arms of her dearly loved husband, Arthur Newton Egbert, on Sunday afternoonOctober 20, 2019, at the home of her daughter, surrounded by loving family. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and she loved having outings with them. Doris was a very fun loving, energetic, person. She had a contagious laugh, sense of humor and loved life. She loved sharing and caring for others. She loved her garden, flowers, and butterflies. She could sew without patterns and designed many outfits for her children. She loved to get dressed up and go out with friends and family. After her stroke, her greatest desire was to get well and go back to Big Timber and be able to socialize with her friends at the Senior Center. The sudden onset of cancer was very devastating to everyone. Doris was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Art; brothers, John and Frank; and grand-daughter and great- grandson . Survivors include her brother, Jim (Helen)Billmayer; sister, Lois (Merlon) Alcorn; and numerous nieces and nephews. She indicated her desire to thank especially Roland Durocher, Sarah, Kenny Olsen and Tish, for treating her with respect and care and honor her wishes even until the end. She was especially thrilled to have Ann Norton, her old friend’s granddaughter, as a therapist. She made her feel special. She was treated so well while she was in the hospital and those who came to the home to do health care and hospice. Thank you all for you kindness. A special thanks to Mary Bertagnolli, dad and mom’s very dear friend, for always being encouraging, loving, and supportive. Connie is so thankful for all the family who came to help and spend the last days of Doris’s life with her, especially her sister and brother-in-law, nieces and nephew.
