Donna Bossard

Donna L. Bossard, 75, of Great Falls, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 8, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family.A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Schnider Funeral Home.Donna was born on September 20, 1940 in Wolf Point, Montana at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Hutchison to Leonard and Bernice Poil. She attended school in Scobey, MT, graduating from Great Falls High School in Great Falls, MT in 1958. She attended cosmetology school in Portland, OR, graduating there in 1960. Donna went to work at a beauty salon, and had owned her own business, Cuti Curl for the last 25 years. Donna married Carl T. Tom Bossard on April 29, 1962. They raised two daughters, Dawn Marie and Cindy RaE.Donna loved her family, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas with her sisters yearly. Donnas customers were very important to her and she took great care of them. Donna was an avid bowler and liked to play bingo. She loved angels and collected hundreds. She has become our angel now.Donna is survived by her husband, Tom Bossard; daughters Dawn Marie (David) Simmons and Cindy RaE Brown all of Great Falls; sisters Gladys Cantrell of Great Falls, Karen (Chuck) Spry of Ulm, Bonnie (Fred) Egan of Bozeman and Vicki Jackson of Sumner, WA; brother Harold (DeJane) Poil of South Africa; grandchildren Tyson Brown, Alexandria Simmons, Joshua Brown, Karisa Brown, Cameron Simmons and Devin Brown; three great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Charles, Loren and Monty Poil.The family would like to thank the nurses at the Great Falls Cancer Care and Peace Hospice for their wonderful care of Donna.Donations in Donnas name may be made to the Shriners Childrens Hospital, PO Box 2472, Spokane, WA 99210.
