Donald Edward Craig, 87, of Great Falls, passed away on February 4, 2014.Visitation will be held from noon to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 7, 2014 at Schnider Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Ulm Bible Church in Ulm, MT. A committal service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Sun River Cemetery. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Donald Don was born on December 17, 1926 in Great Falls, Montana to Ralph and Ruby Craig. Don took flying lessons and obtained his private pilot license. He spent many happy hours enjoying this adventure. In 1946, Don met the love of his life, Jackie Miles from the Fairfield Bench and they were married on September 5, 1948. In 2008, Don and Jackie moved from their farm of 60 years to Great Falls.Don was a selfless man who would give the shirt off his back if someone needed it. He loved helping people. Don is survived by his wife of 65 years, Jackie; son Tom (Pam) Craig of Deer Park, WA; daughters Donna (Kerry) Upham of Loma, MT and Carolyn Olson of Great Falls; brothers Richard Craig and Jim (Helen) Craig both of Bozeman, MT; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
