Domenick T. Morano Jr., 70, passed away on December 11, 2015 in Great Falls.Domenick was born in 1945 in Great Falls, Montana to Domenick T. Morano Sr. and Anna (Arneson) Morano, living in Power, Montana at the time of his birth. He grew up in Power and Choteau, Montana and graduated from Choteau High School.He married the love of his life, Patsy D. May in 1966 in Great Falls. They were happily married for 49 years. After they were married and living in Choteau, they gave birth to their first son, Thomas and a second child, daughter Shelia. After moving to Shelby, a third child was born, Steve. In 1972, they moved to Fort Benton and another son was born, Danny. In 1973, he moved the family to Great Falls where he had employment with Cenex in Black Eagle. In 1980, daughter Becky was born. He began work for the co-op system in 1966 in Fairfield and later in Shelby, Fort Benton and Black Eagle.He enjoyed fishing and hunting with his kids and grandchildren. He also loved traveling to Nascar races, Montana rodeos, collecting hot wheels and sports cards, attending Electric City Speedway races and attending the NFR in Las Vegas, Nevada. He loved being around family and spending time with his grandkids, he loved most when everyone came home for the holidays and special occasions. He also received multiple awards and accomplishments from the co-op system over his 49 years.He was preceded in death by his parents, Domenick and Anna; sisters Isabelle Morano, Edna Morano and Katherine Morano; and brother Frank Morano.Domenick is survived by his spouse, Patsy; sons Thomas (Casey), Steven (Tracy) and Danny (Janet); daughters Sheila (Brian) and Rebecca (Kevin); grandchildren Sarah, Johnny, Bailey, Colton, Katelyn, Kori, Chris, Braden, Molly, Logan, Jacob, and Tyler; great-grandchild Braylen; and sisters Rosie Bremer, Helen Ebensteiner, Melba Mauseth, Shirley May, Betty Morano and Audrey Morano.A private family burial service will be held at the Highland Cemetery on December 16, 2015. A visitation will be held at Schnider Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 15, 2015. The family will be greeting friends and relatives from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Black Eagle Community Center on December 16, 2015 to celebrate his life.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the local chapter of Walleyes Unlimited youth fishing program in his name.Condolences may be left on at SchniderFuneralHome.com.
