Dollie Adeline Rock, aged 79, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022, in Great Falls, MT, with family at her side. She was born Dollie Adeline Corrigeux on September 1, 1943, in Great Falls, to George and Dollie Corrigeux. Her childhood was primarily on the family farm in Cut Bank or in Great Falls with family (grandmother). She served for several years as a 4-H leader. In her early adulthood, she pursued a nursing education while living with her grandmother, Audrey Dupay, of Great Falls. In the early 60s, she moved to California, where she met the love of her life, Lawrence “Larry” Rock. They were married for 58 years, and together they raised four children, Donald Lee Rock, Michelle Renae Dement, Cheryl Ann Basta, and Theresa Anne Morsette. Their commitment to each other and their enduring marriage in the face of life’s trials is an example to us all. They resided in several states, although always returned to the state they loved the most - Montana. Dollie developed several pursuits. She owned and operated a childcare which allowed her to give to and educate the "next generation." She was a great seamstress and enjoyed creating things with her hands (cooking, art, etc.). She supported community efforts to promote Native American lore and culture. She also enjoyed the company of their dogs and had several in succession that were all named Buddy. Her crowning achievement however was her commitment and dedication to her family and children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry; parents; and brothers. She is survived by her 4 children, 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
