Dillard Scotty Wilson, 78, of Vaughn, passed away Friday, June 19, 2015 of natural causes.A vigil service for Scotty will be held Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. A funeral liturgy will be held Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Burial of ashes to follow service at Mount Olivet Cemetery.He was born in Poteau, Oklahoma on January 16, 1937 to Woodrow and Martha Wilson. He was raised in Pomona, California for most of his life. He was the oldest of four children. He married Darlene Suek, July 2, 1957. They had five children, Timothy (Rose), Christina Beattie, Johnny (Anita), and Anthony Tony (Jackie), Lisa Wilson.Scotty drove truck most of his life but in 1978, he did his lifetime dream and started Scottys Mobile Home Transport Service and Repair. He pulled mobile homes and repaired them until retirement in 2002. He drove school activity bus and bus routes for many years after his retirement until his health forced him to retire. Scotty loved to follow and watch the kids in sports.Many thanks to the coffee club it was his daily passion until his passing. Special thank you to the staff at Peace Hospice for the wonderful care.He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Darlene; children Tim (Rose), Christina Beattie, Johnny (Anita) Wilson, Anthony (Jackie) Wilson, and Lisa Wilson; brother Tommy Wilson; ten grandchildren; and twenty one great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Harold Wilson; sister Patricia; and grandson Jimmy Beattie.
