Dennis W. Gollsneider, 72, of Great Falls, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends at Peace Hospice House on Saturday, September 6, 2014.A celebration of his life will be held at the American Legion Hall in Washington, CT on Saturday, September 27, 2014 starting at 2:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Schnider Funeral Home.Dennis was born on July 4, 1942 to William and Ethel (Swanson) Gollsneider in Torrington, CT.His dry sense of humor and immense knowledge of music, trivia, and his great woodworking skills will be missed beyond words.Dennis is survived by his wife, Sandra (Anderson) Gollsneider; sons James Gollsneider and Gregory (Joanne) Gollsneider; daughter Karen (Greg) Beeler; grandsons Gregory, Bryar, Nate, Josh, and Sam; sisters Joyce Bachor of FL, and June Barnhart of MT; and brother Glen of ME.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Peace Hospice, 1101 26th St S, Great Falls, MT 59405 or The American Legion Post 87, Washington Depot, CT 06794.
