Delores Helen Voeller

Delores Helen (Schwan) Voeller, passed away peacefully, Monday, September 8, 2014 of cancer at Peace Hospice.A vigil service will be at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Friday, September 12, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. Her funeral liturgy will also be at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 10:00 a.m., with interment to follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Delores was born March 16, 1935 near Balta, ND to John and Theresa Schwan. She was the oldest of four children, and raised on the family farm. After marrying Edward Voeller on October 7, 1958 in Orrin, ND, they moved to Great Falls.She enjoyed get-togethers with family and friends, camping, attending her grandchildrens sports, traveling back to North Dakota to visit family, and spending time with her great-granddaughter Addison. She had a strong faith in her church and also helped with the funeral dinners.Delores is survived by her daughter, Connie Bates; son Mike (Debi) Voeller; grandchildren Jeff (Carie), Jason, Jeremy, Janelle Bates; great-granddaughter Addison all of Great Falls; sisters Beatrice Plott of Salina, KS, and Linda Hanneman of Minot, ND; and brother Archie Schwan of Balta, ND.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and son-in-law, Dennis Bates.Memorials in Delores' name may be made to Peace Hospice, 1101 26th Street South, Great Falls, Montana 59405.
