Deanna Curtiss-Deming

Deanna Ruth Curtiss-Deming, 63, of Great Falls, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at her home.Per her request, no services are being planned. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Schnider Funeral Home.Deanna was born on July 9, 1952 in Cut Bank, Montana to Orville and Ruth Curtiss. She graduated from Cut Bank High School in 1970. She married the love of her life, Jack Deming on December 17, 1984 after a long engagement. She gave birth to two sons, one in 1972 and one in 1991.She valued education and healthcare throughout her life, earning her Associates Degree in Nursing in 1979. She earned her Masters in 2010. She was a pediatric nurse for many local hospitals for 30 years before retiring. She was an educator for the MSU Northern Nursing Program in Havre.Deannas patients and their level of care always came first. Her impact was great and her need for reward was small. She will be missed.She is survived by her husband, Jack of Great Falls; sons Kevin Deming of Great Falls and Berke Brown of Billings; mother Ruth Curtiss of Cut Bank; brothers Larry and Paul Curtiss both of Cut Bank; and grandchildren Cole, Dylan, and PJ Brown all of Billings.Deanna was preceded in death by her father Orville Curtiss.
