Dean Herbert Simmons

Dean Herbert Simmons 69, of Belt, retired driver/gate shake attendant, died of natural causes Sunday, March 11, 2018. His memorial service is Saturday, March 17 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1401 9th St NW, Great Falls, MT. Dean was born on March 1, 1949 in Fort Atkinson, WI to Colon and Betty Simmons. He was raised in Jefferson, WI and graduated from Jefferson High School with the class of 1967. Dean retired from Probuild (Pouslen’s) after 20+ years. He enjoyed collecting and shooting guns; motorcycle, snowmobile and 4 wheel riding, hunting and horseback riding. He especially enjoyed teaching his grandchildren in doing the same. Survivors include a son, Dean Simmons Jr. of Fort Atkinson, WI; daughter Nacole Kothrade of Great Falls; brother Matt Simmons of Whitewater, WI; and four grandchildren, James Jr, Elizabeth, Sebastian and Myschelle.
