Dawn Marie Selstad

Dawn Marie (Brecht) Selstad, 57, of Great Falls, passed away suddenly at her home on Monday, March 26, 2018. Per her request, no services are being planned. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Schnider Funeral Home handled the arrangements. Dawn was born on November 13, 1960 to Roy and Gwen (Pearson) Brecht in Billings. She graduated from Billings West High School in 1979 and attended college in 1981 at Northern Montana College Havre. She made her home in Great Falls for many years where she was a loving companion to Bill Gregorie. She married Spencer Selstad and they later divorced. They had three children together, Amanda Marie, Shelley Ann, and Adam David. Dawn is survived by her mother, Gwen; daughters Amanda and Shelley; son Adam; her special grandchildren, Leah Danielle and Nicholas Anthony whom she had not met; and her very special companion, Bill. She was preceded in death by her father, Roy; sister Deborah; brothers Michael and Mark; and all of her grandparents. You never know what you have until you lose it.
