David "Matthew" Russell Norman

David “Matthew” Russel Norman, 65, of Great Falls, passed away on December 20, 2019. David was born on July 2, 1954.He was much loved by his wife, Theresa Crockford Norman. He was blessed with lovely children who miss him too. David’s life was complicated, adventurous, and often, heart-wrenching. He loved music, drawing, going to the lake and fishing, flying kites, and being kind. David is survived by his mother, Charlotte Norman; wife, Theresa; children, Mike Norman, Mary Pat Crockford, Patrick Crockford, Maggie Norman, David Norman, and Chris Crockford; grandchildren, Darian, Zoey, DJ, Avery, Brett, Michelle, and Roman; siblings, Ruth (Roar) Sand, Roy Norman, Walter Norman, Debbie (John) Luce, and Gwen (Keith) Martin. David was preceded in death by his father. David became a lay Franciscan. To the end, he was an honorable man. He was always faithful to Theresa. He taught his children generosity, compassion, excellent work ethic, love, self-reliance, and forgiveness. A non-denominational memorial service will be held on January 10, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel (1410 13th St S; Great Falls, MT).
