David Fred Getts

David Fred Getts, 76, of Great Falls, passed away on January 27, 2020. David was born in Great Falls on January 8, 1944, to Fred and Mamie “Dolly” Getts. David put in thirty-eight years of service at Deaconess and Benefis Hospital as a food service worker. He was a member of the Sun River Historical Society and Big Sky Baptist Church. He loved mining, rock collecting, and fishing with his grandchildren. David is survived by his wife, Patricia DeMuth-Getts; daughters, Kori Rioux, Melissa Getts, and Dee DeMuth; sisters, Nancy (Van) Hartley and Hazel (Al) Davison; 4 grandchildren, Josh Getts, Shylo Rioux, Jacob Rioux, and Bianca Sullivan; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Shaylinn Rioux; and parents, Fred and “Dolly” Getts. An inurnment will take place at a later date at Sun River, Montana.
