David Arlen Ekstedt

David Arlen Ekstedt, age 84, died May 21, 2022, in Great Falls, MT. He was born on July 28, 1937, in Bremerton, WA to the late James Oscar Ekstedt and Lucy Mary (Roby) Ekstedt. He married Mary Ida (Reed) Ekstedt on October 12, 1956, in Minneapolis, MN. David and his wife pastored several churches in Minneapolis, Bozeman, and Great Falls. For many years they owned and operated Central Printing Services in Great Falls. David enjoyed participating in the Optimists and Mended Hearts. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, and by his siblings, James, Daniel, Carol Bahr, and infant Alanna. He is survived by four children and their spouses, Mary Ellen (Terry), Jim (Sheila), Chuck (Lynn), and Betsy (David). He was proud of his ten grandchildren, Libby Rayle, Brian Rayle, Reed Witherspoon, Joshua Ekstedt, Elijah Ekstedt, Rory Ekstedt, Ella Ekstedt, Mary Lynn Ekstedt, Callie Ekstedt, and Hannah Ekstedt. His ashes are entombed with his wife at the Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Mausoleum. A celebration of life will be held in the fall.
