Danny Wood

Danny Joe Wood, 45, of Great Falls, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018. Visitation will be Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Danny was born on May 29, 1973 to Richard and Brenda (Cravens) Wood in Carrollton, Illinois. He attended Northwestern High School. He was the owner/operator of Country Boys Welding and his specialty was HCL fabrication. He loved riding dirt bikes and 4 wheelers and barbecuing on the grill. He was full of life, loved making people laugh, totally devoted to his wife and three sons, and loved his job. Danny is survived by his wife, Dawn of Great Falls; sons Donny James, Danny Lee, and Dane Michael Wood all of Great Falls; mother Brenda Wood of; sisters Tammy (Aron) Huff; and Tanya (Edward) Michaels all of Carlinville, IL; and brother Roger Wood of Benld, IL. He was preceded in death by his father Richard Wood. Donations may be made to Wells Fargo Bank in care of the Danny Wood Memorial Fund for his children.
