Dannie Sue Schreiner (better known as Sue), 85, peacefully passed away Saturday morning, August 16, 2014, at Meadowlark House Assisted Living.There will be a memorial service held at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel, on Wednesday August 20, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Sue was born in San Antonio, Texas, July 25, 1929. She came to Montana and was adopted by John Edgar Umphress, who married her mother Bessie B. Umphress in 1945.She married Alexander Schreiner March 29, 1953 and had five children. While Sue had various occupations throughout her life, all were in occupations of care and support for members of our community. She enjoyed crocheting, camping, and loved any opportunity to see Glacier National Park.Sue is survived by her sons, Kim, Robin, and Kelly Schreiner; her grandchildren, Michelle Lapinski, Jennifer Jackson, Michael Schreiner, Crystal Stevens, Sally Mikat, Casey Schreiner, and Kristen Price, as well as many great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander Schreiner; her daughters, Shannon Lyons and Holly Schreiner; and her grandson Jesse Schreiner.
