Daniel Carr Tripp

Daniel Carl Tripp, 69, of Great Falls, passed away December 3, 2018 after a battle with cancer. Born April 12, 1949 to Carl and Delphine Tripp, he was the youngest of five children. Dan attended C.M. Russell High School, served this country in Vietnam and became a Master Agricultural Irrigation Specialist, owning his own irrigation business. Dan was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed nothing more than spending time in the Little Belt Mountains. Dan was blessed with a great-grandson in 2014 (Little Danny) who was the center of his universe. He was a devoted papa, uncle and friend and will be greatly missed. Dan is survived by his granddaughter, Quincy DeVries Tripp (Michael); great-grandson Daniel David Tripp; sisters Judy Johnson (Jerry) and Joanne Tripp; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Delphine Tripp; brothers George and David Tripp; the love of his life, DeVonna DeVries; and his beloved dog, Belle. No services will be held at his request. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
