Constance "Connie" Joan Corontzos

February 22, 1932 — October 10, 2017

Constance ”Connie” Joan Corontzos of Liberty Lake, WA passed away October 10, 2017 at Guardian Angel Homes. Connie was born in Great Falls, MT on February 22, 1932 to Edward and Lila Teddy.She attended Holy Names and graduated from Great Falls High. She met and married Theodore “Ted” Corontzos, also a Great Falls native and attorney and had four children. Through the years, she was active in The Jr. League, The March of Dimes and other charitable organizations but put most of her energy into raising a family. Besides the great joy she received from being with her family, she had an incredible passion and love of music. One of her greatest achievements was a World War II based musical that she composed called “So Goes Our Life” for which she wrote 8 beautiful songs. Her sense of humor was renown and her laugh and positive outlook on life infectious. She had an amazing compassion and understanding of people and never met a stranger. The world was a better place with her in it. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Lila Teddy; her brother, Edward (Ruth) Teddy; and her husband, Theodore ”Ted” Corontzos. She is survived by her brother, Robert (Judy) Teddy of Nevada; daughters, Chris (Jack) Marquard of Spokane Valley, WA, Cathy (Cliff) Bolton of San Rafael, CA and Thea (Aaron) Tippin of Liberty, TN; and son, Tom (Rhonda) Corontzos of Redding, CA. She was so proud of her nine grandchildren, Callie, Alex, Cydney, Taylor, Ted, Tom, Jake, Cade and Dylan. Connie’s wishes were to be cremated and laid to rest next to her beloved husband of 54 years. There will be a celebration of life in Great Falls in the spring. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be sent to Peace Hospice in Great Falls, MT The family wishes to give sincere thanks and praise to the staff at The Guardian Angel in Liberty Lake, WA. Their genuine love and care for her was a comfort to her and her family.
