Colton Tanner Rohlf, 23, of Great Falls, passed away Friday, March 25, 2016.A celebration of life will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at First Congregational Church, 2900 9th Ave. S., Great Falls. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Colton was born on October 28, 1992 in Great Falls, Montana to Tim and Heather (Doran) Rohlf. He graduated from CM Russell High School in 2011. He was attending the University of Montana Western in Dillon, majoring in Secondary Education World History. Colton worked at Western as an intra mural coordinator and assistant to the athletic director and at Calumet MT Refining during the summer months.He was a Special Olympics Unified Partner and Coach for the Great Falls Hornets and he shared this passion with his mom. He enjoyed fishing with his dad. Colton was involved with Youth Dynamics, Walleyes Unlimited (Camp Walleye), North Middle School Fishing Club, and Senator with Student Senate at Western. He was instrumental in implementing extracurricular activities for the student body of University of Montana Western.Colton was passionate about peoplehis family, friends, and everyone he came in to contact with. He regularly sought out time with his cousins, friends and people that were close to his heart. He was a role model for many.Colton is survived by his parents, Tim and Heather Rohlf of Great Falls; his kitty, Spooky; grandparents Rod and Donna VanHeel, Mike and Colleen Doran, Don Rohlf, and Patsy Rohlf Frimodig all of Great Falls; uncles Doug Rohlf and Casey (TanDee) Doran both of Great Falls and Brad (Irene) Mills of Vacaville, CA; aunt Hallie (Rob) Schumaker of Charlton, MA; great-uncles and great-aunts; several cousins, friends and all those who knew him.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Colton Tanner Rohlfs name can be made to the Great Falls Special Olympics, Great Falls Hornets Division, PO Box 3507, Great Falls, MT 59403
