He graduated from Great Falls High School in 2013. As a child, Cody loved anything round that he could kick or throw and that love brought him to many sports, including basketball, baseball and football, but his favorite was soccer. He was only 4 years old when he had his first game and continued to play throughout high school where he lettered all 4 years. He put in many practice hours outside of what his coaches expected. The lessons learned and friendships made through soccer definitely helped shape him into the exceptional young man he was. He had finished one semester at the University of Great Falls and was making plans to finish his education in Missoula this spring.Codys first instrumental love was the trumpet and during his high school years he taught himself to play the guitar and ukulele. He spent much time with his friends making their own music in which he created many beautiful melodies. He knew how to really live life, never wasted a moment of it. From checking in on friends to organizing road trips, he was always on the go. Cody was the one people called when they needed compassion or to be rescued from a situation. There were many times he would leave in the early hours of the morning to help someone. Even though he knew his parents would be upset he left, he would always answer the calls for help. His extraordinary ability to love and accept everyone is a rare attribute that will be missed by all.Cody is survived by parents, Robert and Tammy J Evans; siblings Brandon and Katie Evans; grandparents Kathy Burrow of Pueblo, CO, Tim and Judy Evans of Laughlin, NV; and great grandmother Marjorie Evans of Pueblo, COHe was preceded in death by his great grandfather Chester Evans; great grandmother Beth Niccum; and grandmother, Jan Hoffman.Condolences may be posted online at www.facebook.com/r.i.p.cody aka In Loving Memory of Cody Evans.Feel free to write your adventures with Cody here, or call the family and share as they would love to hear all of them!
