Clyde Alvin Walker, 80, of Great Falls, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2017.A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Eagles Lodge, 1501 9th St. S., Great Falls with Pastor Rod Copp officiating.Clyde was born on April 18, 1936 to Irwin and Christina Walker in Havre, MT. He graduated Hingham High School in 1955. Clyde then met his lifetime love, Mary Ann Moore and they were married on June 3, 1956. He joined the Army Reserve in 1958. He worked for O.B. Lund from 1957-1965. After discharging from Army Reserve in 1964, he started working for White Refrigeration for fifteen years and then retired from Air Controls in 1998.He joined the FOE #14 in 1982 and was a Trustee from 20032016. Clyde was an honorary member of MT Cane Club and a lifetime member of VFW Post 1087.Clyde enjoyed so much of his life and some of those most treasured memories are going to be his love of golf, bowling, fishing, football, and spending time at the cabin.He was preceded in death by his parents; father and mother-in-law Leo and Mary Moore brother Elmer Walker; sister Dorothy Butcher; brothers-in-law Frank Huestis and Gary Butcher.Clyde is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Walker; sons Brad Walker and William (Barbara) Walker of Great Falls; sisters Margaret Huestis, Mildred English, both of Havre, MT, and Vyonne Mosher of Drummond, MT; brother Edward (JoAnn) Walker of Missoula; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Eagles Lodge, 1501 9th St. S., Great Falls, MT 59405.
