Clinton E. Jackson

Clinton E. Jackson, 81, passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2018. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Schnider Funeral Home. Clinton was born May 22, 1937 in Raymond, Illinois to Ebert and Gabrillia Jackson. He was a member of both the Air Force and the Army where he served overseas in Germany and was stationed at Malmstrom AFB. He married Bertha Ann Ward in 1955 and they had one son, Clinton Jackson. After his military service, he worked at the Anaconda Smelter, drove truck part-time and was a manager of Bair’s Truck Stop for a number of years. He was a member of the VFW and past member of the Moose Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; one sister; and his wife. He is survived by his sister, Dorothy Stickles of Payson, Arizona; his son, Clinton Jackson (Jerri) of Great Falls; and 2 grandchildren, Ryan Jackson (Deni) of Great Falls and Kelli Scharf (Tony) of Dickinson, North Dakota; and several great-grandchildren. A private family/military service celebrating his life will be held in the spring.
