Christie L. Beck

Christie Leigh Beck, 45 of Great Falls, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, due to cardiovascular complications. Cremation arrangements have been handled under the care of Schnider Funeral Home. Christies Memorial Service will take place on Sunday, November 24, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. at Connect Church (2624 16th St NE, Black Eagle, MT 59414). There will be a pot luck afterwards. Christie was born on January 18, 1974, in Aberdeen, Washington to Steve and Joan Beck (Ettlemen). She attended Great Falls High School in 1994, and later worked as a CNA. She had a heart of gold when it came to caring for people and especially the elderly. Growing up with her sisters, Shelley (Brugman) and Katie Stivers, she was the Mother Hen for them, as well as many others, in many ways. She always eased uncomfortable situations and had a way of bringing family and friends together. Christie was always the life of the barbecues, the parties and the holiday get-togethers.She always made people laugh with her quick wit and solid personality. Her most recent favorite times were spent with her grandsons, Jeremiah, 6, and Damien, 4, absolutely loving them to pieces. Christie is survived by her son's Christian Beck 28, and Carter Scheer 16, as well as her daughter Carissa Beck 26, all of Great Falls. Christie was preceded in passing by her grandson, Christian Beck and husband, Dave Scheer.
