Charles “Chuck” Franklin Ramsey, 78, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018 after a brief illness. A celebration of Chuck’s life will be held in Springfield, Missouri, at a later date. Chuck was born in Springfield, Missouri, to Leonard and Mary (Freeman) Ramsey on February 18, 1939. He graduated from Willard High School in 1957. In 1959, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force which, a few years later, took him to Andrews AFB, Maryland, where he met the love of his life, Mary (Cotton) whom he married on February 24, 1962 in Pensacola, Florida. After 22 years in the USAF, he had his second career, 25 years with Northrop-Grumman, in Bellevue, Nebraska, as a computer programmer, retiring in 2006. Just 3 years ago, he and his wife moved to Great Falls to enjoy his great-grandchildren. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Great Falls. Chuck is survived by his wife, Mary; son Craig (Teresa); daughter Janet; grandson Justin; 2 bonus grandsons, Jon Novak and Tim Novak; bonus granddaughter Amy Tenney; 2 great-granddaughters, Grace-Anne and Malinda Ramsey; and 2 bonus great-grandsons, Mayson and Liam Novak. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents; sister Beverly Ruddle; and a bonus great-grandson, Landen-James Sheppard-Trotchie.
