Charlene S. Reehl

Charlene S. (Worthley) Reehl, 78, of Great Falls, passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at the Grandview Transitional Care Cottage of congestive heart failure. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Schnider Funeral Home. Charlene Char was born on October 7, 1937 in Portland, Oregon to Charles and Margaret Worthley. She graduated from Jefferson High School in 1955. In 1957, she married the love of her life, Fred Reehl. After being briefly stationed in Denver, CO., they were transferred to Great Falls where they had three children. After Fred had a massive stroke in 1965, Char worked at the GF Clinic to support her family. After retirement, Char was a very active participant in her church. She enjoyed traveling the U.S. and abroad and was passionate about helping others. Char was preceded in death by her husband, Fred in 2005. She is survived by her brother, Wayne (Bev) Worthley of Waterloo, IA; children Marc Reehl of Helena, Michael Reehl of Cascade and Melanie Carlson of Fergus Falls, MN; and she also leaves behind 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
