Charlene Ramone (Julien) Brimmer, 71, of White Bird, Idaho, a retired hotel housekeeper, died of lung cancer on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at her daughters home in Great Falls, MT.A memorial services will take place at a later date.Cremation has taken place.Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Charlene, known to her friends and family as Pinky, was born in White Horse, California, a small logging community in northern California on October 18, 1941 to Joseph and Geraldine Antoinette (Byrns) Julien.Charlene was the youngest of nine children.The family moved to McCloud, California and this is where she was raised.Charlene married William Bill Brimmer from Dunsmuir, CA in 1964 and they then moved to Redding, CA where they raised their two children.Charlene was a devoted wife and mother.She was employed by the Red Lyon for approximately 10 years.When she and Bill retired, they sold their Redding home and moved to White Bird, ID, a small community.Charlene was a wonderful artist and made beautiful wedding cakes for a number of family and friends.She was known for her beautiful gardens and wonderful cooking.She will be greatly missed by all who had privilege to know her.Charlene is survived by her husband, William H. Brimmer of White Bird, Idaho; daughter Wendy (Cody) Smith of Great Falls; son Eric (Trealisa) Brimmer of Susanville, CA; and three grandchildren, Kamron Brimmer, Kyger Smith and Karson Smith.Condolences for the family may be posted online at www.schniderfuneralhome.com.
