Carol Weese

Carol Maxine Thorson Weese, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, departed this life peacefully on July 21, 2015.A memorial Service for Carol will be held Monday, July 27, 2015 at 2:00pm at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel, 1410 13th Street South, Great Falls, Montana 59405.Carol was born on December 25, 1935, in Great Falls, where she grew up before meeting her husband and living her life as a military wife and traveling the world.Carol lived in Phoenix, Oregon with Harry for the past 30+ years were they would spend their days watching their favorite shows, gardening and working on crafts.She worked at Irenes Craft Center when living in Great Falls. She worked in Oregon for the University of Oregon Extension Service until her retirement. She was quoted as saying she had read over 1000 books after retiring. Carol had enormous artistic talent and was known for her many beautiful quilts which she had gifted to family on special occasions. She was a great fan of the Seattle Mariners Baseball team and tried to never miss a game on TV.Carol is survived by her husband, Harry A. Weese; daughter Mari L. Seiter; son Marc C. Weese; 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; as well as her sister, Sharon Snyder and her husband Neil and many nieces and nephews.She is preceded in death by her oldest son, Michael K. Weese and grandson Michael C. Klimka.
