Carol Moltzan

Carol Jean Moltzan, 79, of Great Falls, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2014.A vigil service will be held on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. A funeral liturgy will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Carol was born on April 12, 1934 to Herbert and Edna (Beaver) Leitheiser in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. She graduated from Detroit Lakes High in May of 1952. She married Ervin Moltzan in Detroit Lakes on June 7, 1952. They moved to Great Falls where they raised eight children.She is survived by her children, Steve (Charlotte) Moltzan, Doug (Sherri) Moltzan, Kathy Stice, Susan (Bill) Aline, David (Debbie) Moltzan, Dan Moltzan, Dennis (Sandy) Moltzan all of Great Falls, and Nancy Moltzan of Edmonds, WA; brother Hal (Sharon) Leitheiser of Federal Way, WA; half-sister Diane (Mel) Griffith of Idaho; half-brother Jerry Wendt of Great Falls; 13 grandchildren, Charla, Terry, Duane, John, Cory, Melissa, Chris, Brandon, Travis, Nicole, Jessica, Sara, and Scott; 13 great-grandchildren Kelsie, Shawn, Shelby, Jack, Samuel, Lauren, Faith, Brianna, Brook, Gabby, Andrew, Kandace, and Noah; numerous nieces and nephews.Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin and her parents.
