Bonnie Ella Mather

Bonnie (Larson)(Christofferson) Mather passed away November 21, 2018 at the age of 75. Visitation for family and friends at Schnider Funeral Home, 1510 13th St. S., Great Falls, MT on December 1st from 9:00-11:00a.m.Graveside service will be held at Highland Cemetary at 11:00a.m. Bonnie moved from Gilby, ND as a small child to Great Falls, MT.She attended local schools and eventually graduated from GFHS in 1961(although she was short on a credit so technically graduated in the early 1980s while her kids were attending the same high school...humor). She married Larry in September of 1961 and they raised a family of 4 children together, eventually divorcing some 20+ years later. She eventually met and married Al Mather in 1989. They traveled the U.S. extensively together and then retiredin Great Falls.They also divorced after some 20+ years, yet stayed close friends until Al's passing. About 2-3 years ago we noticed mom was showing signs of dementia.We made a plan with mom to move her to Helena so we could help her. Sadly it was not to be, as in late August she advanced into Rapid Progressive Dementia and passed in some 90 days. She truly enjoyed her cats and dogs over the years, reading, gardening, traveling and seeing her family and friends...and man oh man could she talk up a storm on the phone.She was also a life long member of Our Savior's Luthern Church. Bonnie is survived by her children, Todd(Connie) Christofferson, Danette(James) Moore, Michael(Janis) Christofferson, and Dayton Christofferson.Her brother Roger(Connie) Larson and a sister Karen Larsson.Five grand children and four great-grandchildren. We love and miss you mom. Your soul will always be in our hearts and minds.
