Bonnie Barton-Hlad

Bonnie Barton-Hlad, 73, of Great Falls passed from this earth into the arms of her Heavenly Father on September 11, 2015.Bonnie was born on January 2, 1942 in Cortland, New York to Laurence and Lucy Bentley. She has called Great Falls her home for the past 35 years. Bonnie was a registered nurse and spent the last 10 years of her career working for Peace Hospice of Montana. She helped hundreds of patients and their families with her compassionate and caring nature. She provided comfort to so many and Peace Hospice provided the same to her and her family during her final days.She married Greg Hlad in June 1997. They enjoyed camping, traveling, antique hunting and playing with their dogs. Bonnie loved crafting, reading, and visiting her kids and grandkids. She was their Grannie Goose.Bonnie is survived by her husband, Greg; son Steve Barton of Cheyenne, WY; daughter Susan Goode of Boise, ID; brother Darwin (Frankie) Bentley of Hartwell, GA; her 4 grandchildren Chelsea, Hailey, Taylor and Logan; and step-son Josh Hlad.Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and her infant grandson, Tyler.Per her request, there will be no services. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Schnider Funeral Home.Memorials in Bonnies name may be made to Peace Hospice, 1101 26th St S, Great Falls, MT 59405.
