A mother of 10, she lived her life taking care of others. She especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren grow and loved their frequent visits. Baking cookies and cakes, strudels and large family dinners were her specialty. She loved all holidays and made a point of remembering every special occasion with a card. The house was always decorated for every season! She enjoyed traveling, spending many winters in Arizona. Her and Bob always passed through Las Vegas in the Caddy to drop a few coins in the slots. She was an avid bowler, BINGO and Keno player, making friends everywhere she went.In 1945, she married Jack Alt and had 4 children, they later divorced. In January of 1952, she married the love of her life Robert Bob Miller in St. Paul, MN and they had 6 children together. In 1965, they moved the family West to Montana where they opened Miller Auto Interior.Betty is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Robert Miller; sons Jack (Kathy) Alt, Richard (Jane) Alt, Ken Alt, Don (Tammy) Miller, Ron (Robin) Miller, and Mike Miller; daughters Jean (Dennis) Heppner, Barb Miller, Debbie Collins and Nancy (David) Pfeifle; grandchildren, Teresa (John) Sahli, Jack (Lynne) Alt, Becky (Ryan) Griese, James and Jason Alt, Ken and Christopher Alt, Shannon and Analisa Alt, Melissa and Andrew Pfeifle, Scott Heppner, Staci (Shane) Griffin, Cortney (Armando) Fareaux, Kelsey (Mike) Engellant, Jessica (Matt) Sisko, Adena Miller, Austin (Katey) Collins & Bailey Collins; her beloved great grandchildren, Hunter, Brooklyn, Brody, Avion, Azure, Axtin, Landon, Brooklyn, Kylan, Heather, Kim and Joshua. She is preceded in death by her parents; and 6 siblings: Ed, Rodney, Delores, Nathlie, June and Shirley. We will always remember her watching Lawrence Welk or the story , listening to music and dancing around the house or swinging on her deck.
