Betty Hegland

Former Augusta resident Betty Lee (Lyons) Hegland, 91, of Great Falls, who previously owned and operated the Gibson Lake Lodge, died of natural causes Thursday, October 13, 2011, at the family home in Great Falls.Cremation has taken place under the direction of Schnider Funeral Home and private family services will be held at a later date.Survivors include a daughter, Dianne Tyler of Colville, WA; a son, William Hegland of San Antonio, TX; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin G. Hegland in 1975 and sons Vance Hegland in 1996 and Patrick Hegland in 2006.
