The angels called Betty Earll, who passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on April 11, 2017.Betty was born January 31, 1935 in Great Falls to parents, Lewis M. and Elizabeth M Childs. She graduated from Great Falls High School in 1953 and Colorado Women's College, Denver, CO in 1955 with a degree in Elementary Education and Journalism. After college, she taught second grade in Lupton, Colorado, worked at the Kiddie Shop in Missoula, The Ski Hut, Creative Interiors Design and Great Falls Montessori schools.Betty married Ralph T. Randono August 27, 1955. They divorced in 1989. July 13, 1991 she married John A. Earll. Betty and John spent over 20 summers at their home on Swan Lake, where she loved to gather with family and friends.She loved children, especially her grandchildren. Her life was centered around her family and friends. She enjoyed golfing, skiing, writing music, making jewelry and her beloved pets, Maggie and Chloe.Over the years, Betty was active in local community organizations like Junior League and Crisis Center, the Catholic Church, the Cursillo Movement, Cascade County Heart Association, Hospice and a grateful member of Al-Anon.She was a great lady and will be missed by many. Her strength and patience brought a sense of peace and calm to her family and friends that surrounded her.She is preceded in death by her parents, Lewis Mickey and Elizabeth Liz Childs; brother Bob Jenkins; and son Jeff Randono.She is survived by her husband, John A. Earll; sister Carol More; daughters Julie (Mark) Macek and Gia Randono (Wayne Fairchild); grandchildren Jenna (Cody) McConville, Krista Macek, Kendra Macek, Natalina and Schuyler Fairchild; great-grandchildren Kamden and Brynlee McConville; stepchildren Joni (Rick) Jacobs, John (Melinda) Earll, Jerry Earll and Susan Earll; step-grandchildren Elizabeth and Evan Jacobs, Lauren and Jesse Earll and Alex and Katie Earll; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.The family would like to thank Josie Baje for her energy and loving care for Betty and John. Betty was deeply grateful for the professional care and compassion she received from Dr. Brice Addison and Mary Gray, FNP and her physical therapists.Visitation will be Friday, April 14, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Schnider Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel.
