Betty Babes (Vukasin) Brennan, 80 of Great Falls, a supervisor at Mountain Bell, died Friday, December 2, 2011 at Peace Hospice from complications of a fall.There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends at Schnider Funeral Home on Saturday, December 10, 20ll at 1:30 p.m. Private inurnment will be held at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Betty Babes Brennan was born on April 23, 1931 in Black Eagle, Montana to Marko and Caroline Vukasin. She was the last of eleven siblings, 8 brothers and 2 sisters. She lived most of her life here in Great Falls while working for 34 years as a supervisor at what was then called Mountain Bell. She retired in 1980 and made her family the most important thing in her life. She doted on her only daughter Kathy Bennyhoff and her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She always had time and money to share with them.Babes loved to dance and attend social gatherings. She loved to read and really enjoyed playing keno. She will be remembered by many for her willingness to help someone out in time of need.She is survived by her daughter Kathy (Doug ) Bennyhoff of Great Falls, grand children James (Amy) Bartell of Helena, Jennifer (Ryan) Harrison of Seattle, Travis (Danielle Egan) Bennyhoff of Great Falls, and 5 great-grandchildren: Jaden, Jaycee, Rylee, Taylor and Alicia.She was preceded in death by her parents, all of her brothers and sisters and a grandson Jason Bartell.
