Beryl Larson

Beryl Maxine Larson, 86, of Great Falls, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 16, 2017 at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel.Beryl was born on July 24, 1930 in Great Falls, MT to Edward and Mamie Reed. She graduated from Stanford High School. She met Lyle Larson at the age of 12 and they were married when she turned 21. They celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on December 23, 2016. She owned Beryls Lettering, which was her home monograming business and was a homemaker.She was a Benefis volunteer who knitted 100s of baby hats and crocheted afghans for the nursery. Beryl was a member of the Eagles and the Skunkwagon Antique Car Club. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, word searches, pinochle, and was a puzzler.Beryl is survived by her husband, Lyle; daughters Sandy Hale and Lyla Grossman; daughter-in-law Judy Larson; sister Helen (Jay) Robertson all of Great Falls; brother Clifford (Judy) Reed of CO; grandchildren Kyle (Kayla Jo) and Kayla Grossman, Jen and Ben Hale, and Heather (Jim) Spurzem; and great-grandchildren Lyle and Elly Grossman and Lane and Savannah Spurzem.She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Thelma Rowland; son Larry Larson; mother and father-in-law Martha and Rudy Larson; and daughter-in-law Penny Larson.Thanks to the staff at the Grandview and Benefis ICU for the exceptional kindness and care given to her and her family.Memorials in Beryls name may be made to Meals on Wheels, 1620 12th Ave. N., Great Falls, MT 59401 or a charity of the donors choice.
