Bertha Stroop

Bertha Stroop, 5200 9th Ave S, died on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 of natural causes.Private graveside services will be held at Highland Cemetery.Bertha was born June 14, 1919 to George and Rosa Pfeifle in Great Falls, Montana. She was raised in Power, MT, where she went to grade school. She graduated from Paris Gibson. She then married Jalmer Koski; that marriage ended in divorce. She later married Robert Stroop in 1964, and the couple moved to Belt.A former creamery worker and housewife, her hobbies were dancing and quilting.Survivors are two daughters, Lorraine (Art) Robinson of Black Eagle, and Helen (John) DeVoss of Great Falls; stepson David (Judy) Stroop of Belt; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren.At her request, there will be no services.Mom, you were a wonderful mom, grandmother and great grandmother. You will be in our hearts and memories forever.
