Bernice Stainsby Matteucci

Bernice Stainsby Matteucci, 102, of Great Falls, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017. Per her request, no services are being held. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Bernice was born on April 25, 1915 to William and Mary Ellen (Latham) Stainsby in Great Falls. She graduated from Great Falls High School in 1933. She started her own business as a drapery maker until she decided to retire. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church her entire life. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, playing cards and shopping. Bernice is survived by her granddaughters Chris (Duke) Deshner and Susan (Steve) Bryant; great-grandson Matthew (Liz) Deshner; great-granddaughter Kelsie Deshner; great-great grandson Dane Deshner; and special friend Dotty Walker who was like a daughter.
