Becky (Newman) Kingsland, age 60, passed away March 7, 2018 from pancreatic cancer at Peace Hospice in Great Falls. A memorial and celebration of her life will be March 17th at 10:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Becky was born September 22, 1957 to Raymond and Patricia Newman. She graduated from CMR High School in 1975. She married Carey Kingsland that year and gave birth to her first son, Chad. In 1978, their second son, Casey was born. Their third son, Cory joined their family in 1986. After Chad and Casey graduated, Carey, Becky and Cory moved to Lewistown, MT where she enjoyed being the lunch lady at Fergus High School. Carey and Becky later divorced. Becky moved to Billings in 2005 and worked for McBride and McBride Optometrists where she worked until the fall of 2017, before moving back to Great Falls. Becky loved to spend time with her 4 grandchildren, Madeline, Ella, Isaak and Emersyn. You could often find Becky and the girls getting their nails done or shopping. She loved traveling-whether it was a road trip with her sisters or to the beaches of Hawaii. Becky was preceded in death by her parents Ray and Pat Newman; brother John Newman; and nephew Ray Moe. She is survived by her sisters, Rayla Romain of Billings and Diane (Jim) Kohut of Stockett; sister-in-law Terri Newman of Great Falls; three sons and their families, Chad (Libby and Madeline), Casey (Stacy and Ella) of Great Falls and Cory (Renee, Isaak and Emersyn) of Billings; and nieces and nephews, Jason Moe, Nate Romain, Shannon Romain, Josh Kohut, Julie Kohut, Rachael Kelley and Johnny Newman. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
